On March 1, 2025, the first international opera competition, "Agorà Lyric World" took place in Verona at the Circolo Ufficiali di Castelvecchio.
The Fondazione Ferrari e Salimbeni was the official sponsor of the entire event and also contributed by providing a cash prize dedicated to its founder, Dr. Maurizio Ferrari. This award was granted to a 15-year-old Russian singer, who performed an excerpt from Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss. This initiative aims to support young talents and promote the development of a new training platform for aspiring opera singers, accompanist pianists, and conductors, led by the Agorà Lyric World Association.
